Dal Makhani Masala

1.Soak 100 grams whole black urad and 30 grams rajma overnight.

2. In a deep pan add 1.5 liters of water, Soaked black Whole urad and rajma and let it cook on low flame. If necessary add

more water.

3. Cook 2 finely chopped onions separately in oil/ghee till they turn light golden.

4. Add 2 finely chopped tomatoes and 1 tbsp Shyam Dal Makhani Masala and salt according to taste.

5. Cook for 5 minutes. Add it to the boiled dal and rajma, mix and cook for 10 minutes, add 1 tbsp butter and garnish with 1 tbsp cream, serve with tandoori paratha, naan, roti or rice.
